Got your eye on a beautiful ring but don't know your size? Here are a few ways you can find out.
Before you get started:
- Avoid measuring on overly hot or cold days as our finger sizes change depending on the temperature
- Measure a few times on different days, at different times of day, to get an average
- Thicker ring bands, including wedding rings, often require a slightly bigger size. You can go up a half size from your usual size, or see below for more accurate measuring techniques for thicker bands
- Just like thicker ring bands, tall ring stacks can also require slightly differently sized rings. Measure up the length of the finger you want to wear your stack on and note down the differences in sizes. See below for specific advice on big stacks.
- It's really worth taking the time to get the proper measurements (e.g. at a jeweller's) to get the most comfortable fit and avoid having to have your ring resized
